About us
The Helperkerk is a vibrant congregation where people from different backgrounds have one thing in common: a life transformed by Jesus Christ. Therefore, we share a common desire to pass on the love of Jesus. The ‘The Holy Beans’ project is supported by the entire congregation, both financially and practically. The volunteers you will meet on our bus are primarily members of the Helperkerk.
Fishers of men
Jesus says in Matthew 4:19, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Jesus calls his first disciples, some of whom were fishermen, to win people for the Gospel. This verse symbolizes spreading the faith and perseverance in bringing the Good News.
